The Diaries of Mrs Louisa Arrowsmith, 1822 - 1831

Louisa Arrowsmith lived in Totteridge Park with her husband Edward Arrowsmith  who she married in 1802. Louisa had no children having married later in life.

She was born around 1760 and died on June 20th 1840 at Mansion House, Totteridge Park.

Totteridge Park was owned by Louisa's family. It came to the family through Sir William Lee, Louisa's Grandfather.

Louisa had a brother and three sisters, one sister dying young and only one of the sisters had children.

In her will she left £50 to her friend John Ede, £100 to her Goddaughter Philadelphia Ede and £20 to her old friend Louisa Ede. In addition, "To every servant who has lived four years in my servitude one years wages." She also gave £100 to a school in Totteridge along with books from her library.
