The First World War Diary Wilfred Holland-Hibbert
Wilfred Holland-Hibbert (4th January 1893 – 18th February 1961) wrote a diary of which pages 51 - 66 cover his time serving in the Herfordshire Yeomanry during the Great War. He was called up immediately War was declared and served at home and then in Egypt. He was sent home ill before the Yeomanry was sent to Gallipoli. Once well again he was given the task of training new recruits.
Thurstan his elder brother also served in the Yeomanry until 1916.
