Myrtle Blair - artist and educator

By Prof Thomas L Blair

Myrtle Blair’s book illustrations, life studies, flower paintings, water colours of West Street’s hidden gardens and Mead-side landscapes are widely admired and purchased in the Hertford Art Society annual exhibitions. A prominent professional artist, she is a generous supporter of artistic, educational and popular causes. Furthermore, her close association with fellow Hertford artists such as Trevor Chamberlain make her one of the leading lights in the local art world.
