Having recently been to Norwich Cathedral, this looks very familiar to the cloisters there
Thanks. Ah well, it’s still an interesting photo, even if it’s not from the county.
There are many matches with Salisbury Cathedral cloisters – the shadow of the windows shows large and small flowers, there are doors in arches and four similar arches on the end wall. Not Herts though
The procession seems to be passing within cloisters, which rather suggests ruling out out a church. I have seen very similar when visiting Norwich cathedral but I realise that a situation in Hertfordshire would be more welcome.
