I attended holy rood school in market st. from age 5 till i was 15. Left in 1953. LIVED IN meeting alley , Consisting of 8 cottages. Old slums torn down new brick 3 up 2 down In place of said slums . i was married from there and lived with my family, husband, and son. Till they were knocked down for shops and town expansion. I was given a house on the woodside estate., my parents moved to the harebreaks liveing there till there passing I am stil at woodside.
