The Collett School

1964 - 2014

50th Anniversary Celebrations

The Collett School is a purpose-built special school which opened in 1964, and we are looking forward to celebrating our 50th Anniversary on 14th October 2014.

We are unique in Hertfordshire, being the only special school to have both primary and secondary pupils. We currently have 120 pupils between the ages of 4 and 16, each having complex needs.

Alumni Association

Did you or a member of your family attend The Collett School? We would love to hear from you!

We still have our original registers, and over the next few months, we are aiming to contact past pupils, staff and others connected with the school. We would like to collect memories of the school, and to create an oral and written social history of our pupils’ experiences.

Most importantly, we need to invite you to the party!

Please have a look at our school website at www.collett.herts.sch.uk.
