Ernie Young and his wife Gladys (Coleman) lived at Lybury Lane, Redbourn. Gladys was a London evacuee to the village at the beginning of the Second World War.
That is my Aunt Gladys (maiden name Coleman) …. my Dad’s sister. Amazing to see this … somehow my brother found this … he is an awesome researcher … thanks Jimmy. We lived in Redbourn before we moved to Canada. I have very fond memories of Aunt Gladys when she visited us a few times in Canada … sadly our links to England have diminished to virtually none since the death of our parents….sigh. Anyway, this was awesome to see and read!
