Is there detail, data or a history of the Redbourn war dead? There are a number of common names on the Memorial (Curney, Halsey etc) and I wondered if the story of the village’s soldiers had been told anywhere.
Going back over the years, previous occupants of this property were Arthur Darvell (builder) from 1950 to approx. 1988, Percy Jarman 1914 – 1950, Mrs. Jarman, and Peck’s (builders). Currently it is a gents hairdressers. Geoff
