Bushey District Guides Centenary Celebration camp took place in June 2010 at Northern Heights.

Arriving

The Guides arrived on Friday night and set up camp.  The Brownies and Rainbows arrived on Saturday morning and everyone took part in the Decades wide game.  Rainbows went home tired but happy at the end of the afternoon, as did the Guides.

The Sleepover

The Brownies stayed for a sleepover.  After jacket potatoes for tea, there were camp fire songs and then much excitement as it was time for bed.  Some Brownies took longer to get to sleep than others!

Going home

On Friday morning after breakfast and packing, the Brownies had some free time to explore the woods and play games before it was time to go home.  That just left the leaders to strike camp and do all the clearing up.

It was a great weekend and a lovely way to celebrate the Centenary.  Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make it happen and to all the girls for coming and taking part.

Were you there, what did you like best?
