  • I worked for FJ Wallis Supermarkets in the Leyton High Road branch first as a “Saturday boy”. Wotking Thursday evenings, Friday evenings, and all day Saturdays. Then full time until 1977.

  • Francis J Wallis of Rainham Essex in 1968 had 38 stores & in 1977 they sold a 100 stores to International stores part of B A T for £21 Million, Francis Wallis died piloting his own Piper aeroplane over the Alps also Mr L Cater of Cater bros stores died too.
