The pictures show the 1951 May Queen, Pamela Pressman, with the retiring May Queen from 1950, Betty Whitfield and their attendants.

Betty remembers practising the dancing: ”I was working at K&L Letchworth, they let me have time off work several afternoons to go to rehearse the dances for the two queens. We danced to the tune of Greensleeves, the dance being arranged by Mrs Jepson.”

The final picture is of the Boys Dancing Group,with their names.
