This Easter Monday morning Bingham Cox Cup Final was when Redbourn played Borehamwood F.C. at Clarence Park, St. Albans. Redbourn’s Reg Sargeant (striped shirt) watches expectantly.
I believe my brother played in this game.his name is Alan waller .he now lives in Cornwall.he is 80 now .l am Pat his sister .we are the only surviving people in the waller family .l still visit redbourn and and am very fond of the memories l have living there .if anyone wants to contact me my email address istrishla145@hotmail.co.uk or the one below .

The date for this match is actually Easter Monday, April 10th 1950, and I believe it was a morning kick-off. Redbourn were 2-1 down in the second half and came back to win 3-2. It was especially disheartening for Boreham Wood as they had played another final on the same ground on Good Friday and also lost! (3-1 to North Mymms in the Herts Junior Cup). I am very interested in obtaining a good quality print of this picture (or any other Boreham Wood F.C./Mid Herts League material) and I’d be grateful if anyone could help me in this matter.
