North Watford library

I started visiting North Watford library in 1953. On registering I found it very welcoming (which hasn’t changed – it’s even better). I went through a long period of undetected illness and would find refuge in this library. The books and calming atmosphere would lift my spirits and take my mind off my illness.

I was a member of the Elderbery Reading group for many many years. Libraries have changed so much since I was a little girl for the better and I hope North Watford library will continue for many more years to come.
