St Mary's Church is one of Hitchins most famous churches. It is one of the best because it attracts people and visitors. It is about 14th and 15th Centurys old. It was founded by a mercian king called king Offa in the year 792.
It is situated in the center of Hitchin where everyone can see. It is near a lake with a bridge. It has a lovely scenary where you can sit down enjoy the weather and feed the ducks you can also enjoy the souroundings and look at the church.
