Letter from Oscar Wilde (1854-1900)

to Mrs Grenfell at Panshanger

Oscar Wilde became friends with Mrs Grenfell, Lady Desborough of Panshanger, in the 1880s, and wrote a short story for her called The Birth of the Infanta. Wilde also wrote her several letters, and this one sent from Paris, tells about his latest work,The Happy Prince, which he hopes she will like.
