The Local Yokels Hitchin & Letchworth Carnival

I am not absolutely certain when these images of the Local Yokels Hitchin and Letchworth Carnival were taken but believe it was July 1962. Perhaps someone has records to confirm a date.
I was a young film projectionist at the time working at the Palace and Broadway Cinemas and was born and raised in Letchworth. These photos were taken by me from the window of the Palace Cinema projection room using an Agfa Silette 35mm camera on Iford FP4 monochrome film. The resolution of the images has been reduced to 800 x 600 pixels but can be supplied up to approx. 3320 x 2140 for closer inspection.
