An Officer's Diary

In the Hertfordshire Archives are notes and a letter from Sergeant R.C. Couzins, the (St Albans) Field Battery, 86th (East Anglian) (Hertfordshire Yeomanry) Brigade/Field Brigade/Regiment, R.A., about his experiences on the Normandy beach and in the following weeks through Northern France and into Belgium cf. https://www.hertsmemories.org.uk/content/category/herts-history/diaries-and-letters/hertfordshire-voices/personal-papers-of-883440-sergeant-r-c-couzins
