Threads of Time 2

Following on from the success of the first Threads of Time project, in October 2014 a second project was created.  This time, a group of nearly 50 artists explored the records of the Delme-Radcliffe family of Hitchin Priory.  Over the next nine months, the participants met regularly at HALS and developed new artwork inspired by the family's business and personal papers.

In  this category, you can read about the family and the collection, and follow project members' progress.  Some artists have also given interviews about the development of their pieces which you can listen to here.  The project culminated in an exhibition at HALS in 09 June - 11 July 2015.
