Life under Lockdown

This is a space for you to add stories and photos about life in Hertfordshire during lockdown.  It's also a place to share creative responses to the situation and share your thoughts on how we can best look after ourselves during this time.

Alongside this, Hertfordshire Archives & Local Studies (HALS) are creating a permanent archive recording the effect of the pandemic on people, communities and businesses.

Donations of photos, videos, written accounts, artwork and poems, as well as printed materials are welcome.  If you submit material to this website, please also consider offering it to the Archive.  Email hals.enquiries@hertfordshire.gov.uk for more information.  The catalogue (ref: HALS/COV) will gradually take shape on HALS' website during lockdown, while the original materials will be available to view once HALS re-opens.
