South Asian Heritage Month

South Asian Heritage Month runs from 18 July – 17 August and seeks to commemorate, mark and celebrate South Asian cultures, histories particularly the intertwined histories of the UK and South Asian communities and how South Asian cultures are present across the UK.

Throughout the month, we will be adding content reflecting these intertwined histories. We invite you to add your memories and stories too.  Herts Archives & Local Studies has created a new research guide for Indian Family History. Others will be add here in due course.
