Observations of weather, Octob(er): 1686.

The 8th instant one of the stray cowes carved

The 12 instant began to burn seacoles in the kitchin

The 13 rackt off my english wine into 3 little vessells & 8 bottles conteyning in all about 19 or 20 gallons

The same day came 2 hampers of Canary, the one conteyning 2 dozen of bottles & 8 of Rhennish the other 1 dozen & half of canary

The 15th drawn off a vessell of 15 gallons of Meath & bottelled 4 dozen of qte, & one dozen of pint bottles.

Wednesday the 20th instant the young sow pigged 7 Piggs

Satterday the 23th instant another of the stray Cowes calved.
