On 26th September 2009 hundreds of girls from Southwest and West Herts divisions, came to Phasels Wood Scout Camp in Kings Langley to celebrate 100 years of Girlguiding.

They arrived in glorious sunshine and spent the day taking part in climbing, go karting, tobogganing, zip-wire, bouncy castles, morris dancing, tea-cups, and much more.  I don’t think I have ever seen so many guides, rainbows and brownies running around in a field.  The day ended with the biggest campfire sing-along and fireworks.

What are your memories of Guiding and what do you like about Guides today?
