The Threads of Time comments book

 

The participants in Ken Futers’ bookbinding workshop will no doubt be interested to see an example of his work. He kindly made a comments book for the project, which we have been using at our Open Studio sessions and will be using at the exhibition in June.

Visitors to the sessions so far have been very impressed. Here are a few of the comments already in the book:

• How wonderful to see an archive collection from this unique perspective.
• Fantastic work & great inspiration from the archives. Lovely to see people in action as well.
• So very interesting to look at and hear about the inspiration these clever craftspeople have got from the documents – a real window on teh past.
