18 March and 1 April
Local textile artists have been meeting at Hertfordshire Archives since October to use the Wittewronge archive collection as inspiration for new pieces of work.
You can find out what has inspired them and what they are working on by coming along to one of our open studio events. Project members will be working on their textile pieces and will be happy to talk to you about what they are doing. You can see from the images above that their work is truly varied.
If you think that archives are only interesting to historians – think again! A selction of Wittewronge documents which have inspired the group will be on display.
