Threads of Time Exhibition at HALS 11 - 28 June

 

After months of research, experimentation and stitching, the work of the Threads of Time group will be on display at HALS during normal opening hours from 11 – 28 June 2014. 

Inspired by documents from the Wittewronge family archive, group members have produced wall hangings and quilts inspired by an early weather diary, quilts inspired by an estate map and a wealth of other fascinating items.

You can see all the items throughout the reading rooms at HALS, as well as viewing some of the original documents which have inspired them.

You can find HALS ( Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies) in the Registry Office block at County Hall, Pegs Lane , Hertford. HALS is NOT open on Mondays.
