Dorothy Haigh

List of engravings

By Catherine Davis

Below is the list of Dorothy’s engravings, which may be incomplete so it would be very interesting to know if more exist. One of her pieces was included in an anthology called Forty Five Wood Engravers published in the 1980s by Simon Lawrence of the Fleece Press. He was the grandson of Stanley Lawrence whose shop in Bleeding Heart Yard supplied Dorothy, and many leading wood engravers, with their materials. Beekeeper was the print chosen for the Society of Wood Engravers retrospective 50th exhibition.
