We and the Hertford Oral History Group are pleased to share this contribution to our town history, arts and culture.

Creative professionals and Hertford residents for over 50 years, the Blairs’ Hertford Sketches display their own experience through garden and waterside scenes, places, people and events in the late 20th century. Their paintings and photographs reflect the growing confidence of Hertford as a cultural centre. Moreover, they are a treasure trove for town history enthusiasts, art teachers and students.
