my ancestors from Hatfield, Essex England are
Sarah Newton 1580-1622
she married John Clement
HER FATHER John Newton born 10-10-1563
I can’t find her mother’s info, only that her name was Sarah, I’m trying to trace mom’s moms all the way… not sure how it got to San Nazzaro, Italy Maria Carmella Fucci born 1870… stuck at Sarah Newton’s Mom, any help is much appreciated.
It is possible that Harpenden History Society may have some information for you. Geoff Webb
Hi to every one who visits this page, I hope someone out there can help me find out about the history of my Grandfather before he left England and came to Australia. His name was Albert Victor Lawrance and he was born on the 8th of Feb 1894. He was also the Godson of Lord Lytton the 2nd. His father was the keeper of the house at Knebworth House in the 19 century. He joined the British Navy when he was a very young man and ended up in the submarine cor. I know his history when he came to Australia but I know nothing about his younger days. All his Australian family would love to hear from someone who could fill us in on a very brave and much loved Grandfather. Regards and best wishes from June Lawrance Lee in Bindoon Western Australia.
