Colin Wilson

Hinxworth was a village of 35 dwellings, 3 of which were almshouses, when Chauncy wrote his history in 1700. This may be the highest ratio in the county. Hinxworth was an agricultural area, which have usually been rather poor.

As yet no further information has come to light.
