Life in Bengeo in Covid-19 Times, Part 11

Geoff Cordingley

Gill and I have both had our first Astrazeneca jabs.  Gill was slightly under the weather for a couple of days and my head felt strange for the afternoon and I had a heavy arm for a couple of days.  The second jabs will be towards the end of April.

A lovely sunny day although with a chilly wind today accompanied my walk through Ware Park.  The rivers are still very full but the paths and tracks are drying out slowly.  Some fields are flooded.  The snow and cold have gone hopefully not to return this winter/spring. Snowdrops have been on view for two/three weeks and this morning I saw my first daffodil flowers, beautifully, butter yellow.  Spring is finally on its way.

Inoculations are progressing at a great rate, this is something the Government has got right – give it to NHS to handle!  There is now a ‘roadmap’ out of this third lockdown so hopefully we’ll be able to enjoy this summer!
