Summer has finally arrived with the sound of willow on leather!

On the personal front Gill & I were able to meet Richard and family along with Stephen and Laura at a BBQ in Richard’s garden on Saturday.  Still no hugs but at least we could all be together for the first time since mid-March.

Last Thursday I managed a haircut, the first one since January!  Two of the barbers were significantly separated on the ground floor and the third was in the basement.  They wore see-through face guards and gloves and I was asked to use hand sanitizer and wear gloves.  I was covered with a thin, polythene sheet rather than the usual cotton cover.  Afterwards the gloves and polythene cover were wrapped up and binned.  It was as safe an environment as possible, although not very environmentally friendly!  You have to book and pay on-line.  I had booked the barber who was by the door.  I also booked the first appointment of the day.
