My contribution to the BBC’s Great British High Street Hands on History project is this interactive quiz on Bishop’s Stortford High Street. It does not follow the series in that it is not limited to 1870 to the 1970s – it is more just a bit of light fun to test your knowledge of the High Street as it is now. I hope you enjoy it.
To take the quiz, you will need Microsoft Powerpoint or an equivalent program installed on your computer. You may be able to run the quiz on a mobile device such as an iPad or iPhone, or a Windows or Android phone or tablet – but if so, you must be the expert!
If you would like to print the quiz instead, please download the PDF document. Be warned, there are 40 pages. You can save paper if you wish by printing two pages per side and using both sides of the paper, or only printing the questions and not the title pages or answers.
