I remember going to explore the ruins of Beaumount Manor as a child in 1955 ish with some little friends very spooky but exciting all at once. We were aloud to roam safely for miles back then. This was shortly after moving from Edmonton in London to the New Flamstead End Council Esatae. Also Bluebell wood was magical.
