Waterstone's of Hitchin

      My favourite place is Waterstone’s because I love books. Most people might ask, why not choose a library then, it’s much quieter and cheaper than a book shop? I choose Waterstone’s in Hitchin also because of its location. This book shop is right outside the old Hitchin town square with also has my favourite thing about Hitchin in the middle of it, the big blue clock in the middle of the square.

Waterstone’s in a place that is only filled with books and several of them are my type. I like to stand in there for hours and sit down at the table and read some of the books they have to offer. It might be cheaper to buy them in Tesco’s or Morrison’s or Sainsbury’s but it doesn’t have the same effect on you. You feel like you have paid a proper tribute to the author. Waterstone’s can offer that to me very easily and that is why it is my favourite place in Hertfordshire!
