My father, Leslie Couzens, was a member of the Potters Bar Photographic Society for many years during the 60s and 70s, finally becoming the President. Each year, there was an exhibition of the members’ work, and also outings were organised. Meetings were held in Oakmere House, and each year we also had a Christmas party for the children. Committee meetings were usually held at our house, as were special photographic sessions when models turned up (sometimes posing nude!)

As a current member or the of over 22 years i knew of mr couzens from photos and donated trophies. I also knew from members that knew him had a high regard of him and his work. One of late members jim fry knew him quite well as he also was a founder member.
