The Salisbury Estate Housing Development, Potters Bar 1957

Does anyone remember the building of houses and their associated roads and services: Tempest Avenue; Forbes Avenue (stopping before the Wayside); Chauncy Avenue, Mandeville Road and Margaret Road? These were all for home owner purchase built in 1957 @ around £750 on average, and originally known as The Salisbury Estate, with 130 or so dwellings in all!
All built prior to the Enfield & Tottenham over-spill estates one of which became The Oakmere Estate with the school, which followed in the early 1960s.
