Halsey & Swain
Geoff Webb

The marriage of Lenny Halsey and Gladys Swain.

Left to right: Freda Halsey, Ted Swain (rear), groom and bride, Beryl Woodstock, Percy Collins (best man).

A sad footnote: The couple decided to get married on Lenny’s embarkation leave during the Second World War.  With a week or so or returning to his unit, his troop ship was sunk on its way to the North African Campaign.
