  • Dr Jurin Totton and his wife Gwen were my Great Uncle and Aunt. My mother and her brothers would stay with them in the school holidays during the War. I remember going to visit Aunt Gwen Totton when I was a child (early 1970s) and there was was still an Anderson Shelter in the garden and the bunks in the cellar of the house. I have memories of beautiful roses in the garden. My mother who now has dementia is always so delighted and animated when telling us stories of her childhood times visiting Redbourn with such clarity.
I was just curious to see if I could find anything about Dr. Totton of Redbourn at the time when my mother and uncles were children. So very happy to find this site. Thank you!
