Sansom's Watercress Workers

These two photographs are taken in the yard at the rear of Ver House in Redbourn High Street, which was the home of John Sansom, watercress grower. The top picture shows a tea break, c.1938. Left to right: Mr. & Mrs. Bill Simpson, Maurice ‘Mo’ Sansom (rear) and Ron Smith.
