The Snatchup Cottages were situated at North Common, Redbourn, and at this time, June 1950, were being left empty for demolition, starting from the eastern end. The youngsters are standing on the footpath which led to Lybury Lane.

I live in Australia now, when I saw this photo, it brought a tear to my eye. One of my best friends from Redbourne is Toni Kings Sister. What memories. What a great site. I do hope they have also seen it.
