The Bowls Club (at the rear of the tennis courts), was started in the early 1950’s, and these photographs were probably taken when the Green was opened.
In the top photograph players studying the end are, left to right Mark Gregory, Basil Harborough, Joe Chapman, Bert Harborough and Tony Jackson.
The three bowlers in the lower photograph are Joe Chapman (left), Bert Harborough (centre) and Mark Gregory
