This Bout’s lorry and trailer turned turtle in Redbourn High Street one Sunday morning, after being in collision with Sam Skillman’s Model T Ford which was turning right into Crown Street. The man in the white shirt and braces is Dick Hillyard.

The lower photograph shows the lorry driver and his mate pondering their miraculous survival.
