The railroader was tried on the Nicky Line at Redbourn, when seen here at the station around 1931, but proved unsatisfactory.

  • Well, one has to understand that the techonology was in its infancy but, more importantly, the railbus was a Karrier and this Huddersfield built marque was notoriously unreliable as a normal road vehicle at the time. A better chassis would have made a mountain of difference.
