Alma Road Council School, St. Albans

I’ve commented on the photo of “mystery schoolchildren” on this website. In this photo of my mum (b. St. Albans, 1918), she is wearing such similar attire to the girls in the mystery photo that it suggests that the school in question could be Alma Road Council School in St. Albans in the first part of the 20th century. I know that my mum attended that school when her family lived in Alexandra Road at that time.
