I went to take some shots of the city and surrounds on 20th February 2010, arriving in time for sunrise. It was -3°C — bitterly, miserably cold — but it was a fairly clear morning, so my shots of and from Verulamium Park, to the west of the city, came out quite well.
Later, it became very sunny (though still cold) and I took a few photos around the cathedral and one of the Clocktower.
If anyone has knows about which species of trees are pictured etc., feel free to post it and I will update the captions.
