Maps for family and local history

 

HALS has a large and varied collection of maps. Learn how you can use these to increase your knowledge of your local area and enhance your family history studies.  

All Hands on History sessions are held in the afternoons, 2-4pm and cost £10 per session.

Booking details 

   Spaces are limited on all our courses, so please make sure you book in advance.  

Payment is required at the time of booking. Bookings can be made in person at HALS, in cash or by credit/debit card payment.

You can also book with credit/debit card payment by telephone  - call 0300 123 4049 and ask for HALS Local Studies Library, (Textphone for hearing or speech impaired users 0300 123 4041)

HALS reserves the right to cancel any course up to one week in advance if minimum numbers have not been reached. Payment will then be refunded.
