Home Wood, Knebworth

Home Wood is my favourite place in Hertfordshire for a number of reasons.

Firstly, it holds a number of memories for me because I went there a lot in my childhood. Also, it has a very magical feel and whenever I go there I can forget all the troubles of the world and just enjoy the peace and lovely birdsongs. My family and I still go there often, particularly now we have a dog! My brother and I still play in the wigwams there, they still hold the enticing feeling they did when I was young.

That is why Home Wood is my favourite place in Hertfordshire.
