The River Mimram

The River Mimram is a very old river that starts in whitwell. At Whitwell there are cress beds that have been fed for years dating back to the Roman times by this source. The River Mimram’s elevation above sea level is 90 metres/295 feet. The length of the Mimram is 20km.
