Towards the end of the nineteenth century Mrs. Scott was a popular Redbourn resident and formed a music society of instrumentalists and vocalists at her Redbourn House home (now the site of Gertrude Peake Place). Professional musicians and singers joined the society members to give concerts in the music room, or, weather permitting, in the attractive gardens at the rear of the house, as shown in the photograph.
A plan with the names can be obtained from Geoff. Please contact us for information.
