‘Sep’ Smith is seen at one of the annual Redbourn fetes, where he took a lot of beating in the pillow fights! For several years the fetes were held at the Peake’s home at The Heath on the Common.
Seated in the centre is Sidney Dimmock, who lived at Crown Street.
